SEO - What Does It Mean To Your Business?

Search Engine Optimization or SEO is a real big part of your business and here is why if you don’t invest in proper SEO both technical and social media you are burning your money and not getting a good bang for your buck and missing out on FREE traffic that comes to you from ranking on the first pages of Google.
Now here is where it gets interesting Google has algorithms that they use and they change regularly to rate your site and how relevant the content it is to the title of the content and what sort of experience does the reader get when they come to your website.
Google wants the reader to be:
  • Educated
  • Entertained
  • Have FAQ’s
  • Good quality content
The spiders also report back how long that they readers were on your site, links that were clicked and even is sophisticated to record scrolling to see how people were engrossed in your content and also can also see through Google analytics all of the information that I will cover in another article.
Now that we know what Google wants and that is good quality content that is unique and delivers the information that the reader first typed into their browser.
What happens though if Google goes to the content and finds that there are a few duplicated versions of the same article for instance? Well it looks and tries to reward the person who first put the content up but this does not always happen imagine for a moment you looked on Google to see how your article is doing and see your competitor that has blatantly copied for your article that you paid to have written and worse still they are ranking higher than you!
Back to search engine optimization for your business:
You like me must get a ton of emails from people that flood your inbox with SEO offers, also perhaps that you too have also paid for services that say that they can get you ranked on Google page one in no time at all. If you see these type of offers delete them, here is why.
  • It will take 2-3 months to work behind the scenes until you will start seeing results
  • If you target very popular keywords it may take longer or you may not rank for these at all as companies with a bigger ad spend will always own the top spots.
  • We would look at other strategies that are the lower bearing fruit that we would concentrate on to get you seen and getting ranked for.
  • What should be done though is an audit outlining what errors are on your site both on page and off page.
SEO for Local Business is something that can be very successful for your business or restaurant and if done correctly that would bring customers through your door.

WHY A VIRTUAL ASSISTANTS DO NOT WORK OUT FOR EVERYONE

The following are the things that can wrong at the start or joining an outsource company. I am always honest with clients and say that there will be things that go pear shaped from time to time and the best way is by having open discussions that work on solutions moving forward. I know that this is the best approach so that you may find the following information also helpful.

Expectations are unreasonable
This happens when the first discussion takes place and if all questions are not asked at the beginning. At Need a VA we record calls so that both the client has a copy and the project manager can reply to ensure that we have not missed important points.
We use a project management tools for larger tasks and each of our sections have a project manager that works between you and the VA, this way the project manager can quality control all of the work that is sent to you for approval.
Communication is everything
  • This is a big one when it comes to talking and discussing things with your virtual assistant.
There are times that the client is not clear of what they want and is disappointed that the VA did not “get it.” The virtual assistant is the busy bee they do what they are instructed to do.
  • With communication try to stay with dot points or video using Jing is best.
There are times where the VA will try to contact you in order to progress your task and this is made more difficult if email are not returned.
  • Reports from the VA should be daily or weekly and that should be discussed on the initial meeting. This is so you can see how the tasks are going and make comments if its not how you wanted something
  • Pay on time every time The VA’s are just like us with bills, food utilities etc. ensure that you pay promptly and if they have done an outstanding job please tip them – even a few dollars goes such a long way in their country.I have captured a few reasons that could happen when using a new virtual assistant company but again that its not like that at need a VA as we have used the latest focus group results from UCLA to train our outsourcing staff. We also use project managers who oversee your tasks, check your work and report back to you. So there is always open communication
Contact us today and see the difference our website is http://needava.com or email info@needava.com

HOW TO DEVELOP A LEAD MAGNET IDEA EFFECTIVELY?

As an internet marketer, or at least as someone who is familiar with the internet, you would come across the term “Lead Magnet” a lot. A lead magnet is essentially an incentive offered to a prospect in exchange for their contact information. An effective lead magnet idea is one that maximizes the number of targeted leads that you get for a particular offer.

Here are some of the Lead Magnet Ideas that you should know about…
#1: A free software tool or download
#2: Free coupons
#3: A quiz or a test
#4: A free webinar or a recorded video recording
#5: A case study
#6: A toolkit
#7: Free consultation or sales material
#8:  A free eBook or a report
#9: A PDF checklist
Each of these lead magnet ideas are proven to work and are guaranteed to get the attention of your audience. But it is not as simple as you think. You will need to work hard and take effective action to develop lead magnets that get you the expected results.
Follow the step-by-step guide given here to develop lead magnet ideas that work, time and time again.
Step #1: Choosing a lead magnet
We have listed some of the best lead magnets above. You can pick any one of these ideas, depending on the information you would like to share. For example, if you’re going to offer a free report, what is it going to be about? If you want to offer a quiz instead, have you properly considered the questions?
An effective lead magnet does the following for you…
#1: It is attractive and grabs attention.
#2: It offers quality information that the client would want to have and would benefit them in some way or another.
#3: It is relevant to your products, business or service.
#4: It is simple enough for a potential client to understand, but hard enough so that they would want to have more information from you.
#5: It tells your clients what they need, is educational and descriptive about a problem and offers a simple solution. It tells them why they might find your product or service useful.
 Step #2: Create great content
Now that you know which lead magnet would be the right one to offer, the next step is to create great content for it. Some lead magnets such as eBooks or reports need more content than others; each lead magnet idea would require quality material.
Here are a few tips on content creation for a lead magnet…
#1: Designing a landing page for the lead magnet – The landing page should have enough descriptive content that explains what the lead magnet is and what it has to offer. The landing page will also have a download button to access the lead magnet.
#2: Designing a form page – On the form page, the customer fills up a form before downloading the lead magnet. Most internet marketers ask for the subscriber’s phone number, name, e-mail address, business or profession and website URL. Only the name and the e-mail address need to be mandatory, the other entries can be made optional, this way, the subscriber doesn’t feel like they are being asked for too much information. As soon as they fill up the form, send them an email with the download link for the lead magnet.
#3: Designing a “thank you” page – The subscriber should be led to the thank you page after downloading the lead magnet. This is where you thank them for downloading the lead magnet and explain where they can find the download link. The “thank you” page allows you to track the number of times the lead magnet has been downloaded. This way you will know how many leads you’ve had.
Step #3: Setting up the lead magnet on your website
You’ve done the hard work – created the landing page, form and the “thank you” page. You probably have the material for the lead magnet read as well. Now, it’s all about setting it up on your website. Add a web page called “resources” with links displayed right on top of your website. This should be unique and distinctive from the rest of the website and make it easy for people to opt-in, should they want to. Clicking on this link should take them to the landing page for the lead magnet.
Next, place effective calls-to-action for the lead magnet at various places on the website. This could be in the sidebar of your blog, below the web page or in other easily accessible places. The call-to-action should include attractive, clickable visuals for best effect.
Step #4: Optimizing the Conversions
The next step is to see if the lead magnet actually works. Track the number of downloads and find out how many of them have developed into leads. If you’re getting a fair share of downloads and a high conversion rate with your lead magnet, then you’ve done well. If not, find out why.
Why a lead magnet fails to convert…
Reason #1:  Perhaps it supplies irrelevant information, which is not related to your business, product or service.
Reason #2: It is hard to understand.
Reason #3: It doesn’t offer enough information; lacks descriptive content or material.
Reason #4: It’s designed very unattractively; is an eye sore.
Reason #5: The email link or the download button is not working.
Reason #6: The email with the download link ends up in the SPAM folder of your subscriber.
Conclusion
We have discussed the importance of lead magnets, given you examples of effective lead magnet ideas and explained how to develop them. If your lead magnet fails to give you the expected results, do read the tips given here once again, try out different ideas till you get one that works.

BRANDING - ARE YOU GETTING YOUR NAME OUT THERE?

But the question is what name are you getting for yourself?
What do I mean I can hear you say?
Tell me this, what do you think when you watch an ad on the NIKE brand?
You think of super fit athletes all in the sports that they are famous for each one of our sporting heroes all wearing NIKE shoes and clothing.
Totally amazing, it even gets you a little excited to watch the ad to see who is featured…right?
Coke ads are similar all featured with happy laughing teenagers having a great time together and you then associate having a great time while drinking Coke.
I must see dozens of websites a day many of them have an idea in mind but its not reflected in their website or any of the social media platforms. The message is lost and disjointed and in a lot of cases I either have to ask what are you wanting to be known for as I can’t get what they are wanting to promote.
Even stranger they get lost for words they start to give you an answer saying I want to be able to promote this product or I still want to be an affiliate but want to be known as an authority.
What you need when you are getting your name out there you need branding something when you see ads people will know its you right down to the colors you choose from your site that shows more about your personality, logo and tagline these all tie into making this all about tying the brand together.
Even when you are new you and you join a program and they tell you just put a site up and drive traffic. Be very careful when you join a program that you do not get swallowed up in their brand and lose yourself.
I go to new websites and honestly need to wear sunglasses as the person has gone to the back of the affiliate area and put every flashing banner they could find.
Nothing could be more of a turn off than landing on a page like this. When you have a website built for you ensure that YOU are made the authority, for instance if you are coaching people the front page should be about you with links to book a session with you etc. You can promote other products through “resources I use”
With your own website it does not matter if the company you are an affiliate for goes belly up – you still have your real estate your own website.

WHY DO YOU NEED WEB DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

A simple question to be asked first: What is a website? In its bare form, a website is a single domain that consists of different web pages. We should all know that by now, but surprisingly what we don’t all know, is the benefits a website can provide for your business and it’s shocking to witness how many business don’t actually have a website or online presence!
If you have a business and don’t have a website, you are losing out on great opportunities for your business. A website itself can be used to accomplish many different marketing strategies to help your business grow. As a business owner, you need to know where your consumers are. But what if consumers know your business and what you can offer, but they can’t reach you? That is one of the risks you take by not having a website for your business.
Read the terms of service when dealing with web development services companies who offer “unlimited” services. Many times web hosts will offer unlimited bandwidth or sometimes hard disk space. Read the terms carefully, as they may reserve the right to ask you to upgrade your plan, if you are a higher profile customer, that has increased usage.
What are some other benefits of having a business website?
Cost Effective
You know exactly how much your website is going to cost you and it’s ongoings – a brick and mortar store, on the other hand, is susceptible to many out of the ordinary occurrences which could blow out the costs such as leaving the lights on, theft, damage, extra staff etc.
Accessible around the clock
Your website and social media accounts are accessible 24/7/365. Imagine that you want to buy from a store. You put in all the effort required to go to the store, but when you get there, it’s closed. We all know how irate we feel in that situation. You’ll think twice about going back given the bad taste its left (ok might have been your fault for not checking but hey, this is proving the point here!). You will just find another store that is more easily accessible.
Convenient
What is more convenient: driving outside to look for different stores that are available to shop in, or sitting in the comfort of your own home and shopping for the products you’re looking for? Pretty obvious answer, unless you like aimlessly driving around. Smart businesses realise this and thus have their own website housing their products and services so that potential customers can browse online for the products they want to purchase.
Consider using a web development service to help you save money. This does mean, however, that ads will be appearing on your site, and also your storage space will be limited too.
Credibility
By building a website you are giving your business the opportunity to tell consumers why they should trust you and the testimonials and facts to back up those opportunities. Believe it or not, most people will search the internet for a product or service before the purchase to check the credibility first. When you provide good service or product, positive word-of-mouth about your business is likely to spread. Which in turn, delivers more repeat and new business.
Lastly, knowledge is power when it comes to web design and web development services. Take the necessary time to do some research and find out what is best for you. Remember, you can always outsource this project to web designers, but it will be costly!
If you want an effective service while at the same time spending the most out of your money, check out Needava Solutions now! Rest assured that you will be able to get professional web development services from us!

FALSE & DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING

If I am in a program and have success I will tell others and even if I don’t tell people they will reach out to me and ask me my thoughts and this trust I will never take for granted as its an honor that people see me as a person of my word.
That is why I NEVER give testimonials to people or products that I have been involved in personally.
THIS WEEK THIS GOT UP MY NOSE….
One of my online friends asked my opinion about ABC program – I said sorry I don’t know anything about it but they said “Jenny I just saw your video on it promoting it and thought I would ask how its going!”..
He gave me a link to this product and they have ripped the video I did promoting another company that I was in and had the success that I was glad to give the testimony.
This is totally misleading and a LIE and I would not trust this company if they have not legitimate testimonials DON’T put up videos that are not related to the product.
The entire testimonials given on the video are from a different program I was in 2 years ago – no permission was asked either as the answer would of been NO.
Please reach out to me as I will tell you if I am or not involved in something – I want to protect you!

WHAT DRIVES YOU TO RUN YOUR OWN BUSINESS?

Some people believe its just putting a sign out that you are open people will flood in. WRONG
Your business first needs the right branding that carries right through from social media, letterheads, banners down to your tagline.
People get stuck even to know what they stand for! That is a worry if you can’t express what you stand for how can you tell the world that you business even exists.
Being accountable is something too having a timeline like mini goals that keep you focused and stretching you making you that little bit uncomfortable – so who are you accountable too? Yourself of course
you can do this by announcing an event, speaker or a guest that will speak or to be interviewed by you.
COMMUNICATION IS KEY
There s not one person that does not benefit and grow through open communication. In the world today its hard to think that people prefer to talk through emails that have no emotion and can cut people to the core as you never know how your message is received on the other end, rather than pick up the phone.
Things can go to crap easily as sometimes the words that are not said are the hardest. Try to be open and be in a business that has solutions there is never a quick answer as it can be:
– taken the wrong way
– bringing an ego into the conversation
– always 2 sides to a disagreement….always.
FORGIVE PEOPLE – this to me is gold they do not mean to be cruel but can say nasty things that hurt long after the call is ended.
Being in business is a juggle at times there are many elements that make it work – I would not change things for the world nothing is more satisfying when it all works together.

OUTSOURCING – THE BEST PLACE TO OUTSOURCE IS THE PHILIPPINES

Hey there! Jenny Jordan here, founder of Need a VA an outsourcing company based in Davao City in the Philippines. Today I want to chat with you with a little bit about where to outsource. When most people think about where to outsource, they think about India. But things are changing considerable.
So why India? Well, India were sort of the pioneers in the outsourcing game. But things have changed quite a bit. Today, even Indian companies are looking at the Philippines for their phone-based support which is a turnaround!
We’re in the Philippines. So why the Philippines? Well, the Philippines, you’ll find a lot of hardworking young individuals (many with degrees) that are very eager to please. They’re intelligent, and they’re honest. And they are very, very knowledgeable. There’s a tremendous work pool over here, and there’s a lot of reasons why you should work with them.
And also, by the way, the attrition rate is incredibly low and they have very light accents. This is all very important. Remember there’s a lot of benefits to outsourcing overseas. First of all, you’re going to save a ton of money and in addition to that, there’s a lot of hidden expenses that you save on as well. For instance, the desk, the chair, the internet, the telephone, the payroll, insurance, taxes, and the list goes on and on. You can save all of this as well. So there’s a lot of benefits.
Our people are hardworking and very independent. That’s what you want. To me that’s independence. They just basically takes the initiative and gets the job done.
Now, what I also want you to know is that if you’re in the US or if you’re in another country, the net result of outsourcing is actually a benefit your economy because you’re going to stay in business, you’re going to pay more taxes to your local economy, you’re going to hire more people in your local economy, you’re going to purchase more goods and services in your local economy.
And that’s what we’re all about here. We’re not about taking jobs away from anybody. We’re about creating new jobs and supporting businesses all over the world. And that’s what we do here at Need a VA.
If this sounds interesting to you, if this sort of resonates with you, then I encourage you to get more information. You get more information on outsourcing  by simply reaching out to one of our team at info@needava.com. And also I do have a big favor to ask of you. Please share this article on your social network so someone else can find this article useful and in turn get to know more about outsourcing. I just also would really want to get your feedback.

It depends on you, let me ask you the following questions:.
  • Ask yourself: Will your site pop up to some of the targeted search queries?

  • Will they convert to sales?
If you answered “no” to any of the above questions, you have some work to do…

Quickly.

By the time you finish reading this post, another couple million have searched. A portion of them, probably interested in your offer.

So here’s what to do about it…

You just have to help them solve their problem. See, it’s probably the only place left online where customers don’t mind the ads. Because AdWords ads can be just as useful as organic search results.

HOW CRITICAL IS A MOBILE APP FOR THE GROWTH OF YOUR COMPANY?

A few decades ago, if you wanted to run a business, what you needed was a brick-and-mortar office.

A few years later, post-millennium, it became imperative for businesses to have a website. Jump to the present time, and you’ll realize that an increasing number of companies launch mobile apps. In fact, some companies actually work mainly from their mobile app!

The App Advantage

According to a report on Gallup, 52 percent of smartphone users in the U.S., 20 percent check their phone about once in an hour. Unlike a laptop or PC, a mobile device can easily be accessed. As well as being large and often impractical, the former requires a few steps before you can access your files: switching on the monitor, logging on, waiting for the system to load, etc.

Furthermore, a mobile device’s click-of-a-button accessibility is like a “come get me” plea to your marketing department. Since mobile devices are easily used often and are usually within the owner’s reach throughout the day, your mobile app, and in turn, your brand, will constantly be within touching distance.

Another advantage of having a mobile app is that you can stay ahead of the game if your competitors are yet to utilize the platform. This is true when you’re in competition with established companies.

If you want to stay ahead of your competitors and remain at the forefront of new technologies, then you’ll have to consider developing a mobile app for your business. However, before you do that, here are a few things you need to consider.

Know Your Audience

You have to thoroughly research your market and see which platform your audience prefers: web or mobile? You can conduct quick, web-based research on platforms or even send out a survey to your list asking them about their app usage and preferences.

If your market research shows that your target audience is active on both mobile and web platforms, then you should definitely start with a website. Launch a responsive, mobile-friendly website first; if you go straight into an iOS or Android app, you could end up losing a lot of customers and sales.

iOS or Android?

If your market research shows that your audience prefers using mobile apps, you have to then decide which platform to develop: iOS or Android. However, you should bear in mind that there are more Android users in Asia compared to iOS, more iOS users in North America compared to Android, and a near-tie in Europe, according to a report by Developer Economics.

Your decision should come as a result of research on your own market. You should also check out the specs on both Android and iOS platforms to see which one will save you the most money and time.

Is Location Important?

If your service is solely dependent on location and requires instant information on-the-go, it’s best to develop a mobile app.

What’s Your Budget?

When you decide to develop a mobile app, have a look at different app builders on the market and choose the most viable one for your budget. You could even create a prototype app without writing any code, so you can have an idea of what your mobile app would look like.

It’s All about Analysis

Future-proofing your company is something you have to consider when you launch. Remember: Don’t hesitate. In summary, you have to be smart with your numbers and time and not immediately leap into building a mobile app without researching your target market. That should apply to every business decision you make.

For instance, if you already have a website, then you should monitor your Google Analytics. If you see 20-30 percent traffic coming from people using mobile devices, then your decision’s made— start building your mobile app! Always make a decision around your target market’s needs and habits. If your market is crying out for a mobile app, give it to them.

Keep monitoring your audience’s habits and eventually, you’ll soon find out what works and what doesn’t. Analyze, adjust, research and apply!

THE STORY OF NEED A VIRTUAL ASSISTANT AND HOW IT HAPPENED

For me as I head into a milestone birthday I look back on past milestones and think back how strong I am through all that is thrown at me I rise and will not bow down to challenges I am a fighter and always get back up no matter how many times knocked down. The following is not a boo hoo woo is me it just shows to me that I am learning life lessons.
On my 40th year it was one of the toughest and one that you never get over it was when my son and his mate were killed in a car accident even when you think I am fine a song a place or a friend of my son will bring tears to my eyes when I remember how much I miss him, the whole in my heart remains to this day. In the same year I lost my dog and a close friend to car accidents.
But you know you just get on with life you have to and I went on to work with adolescent boys as housemother in a boarding school which made my heart sing and had me laughing and at  times crying with them as I got involved as like a surrogate mother in their lives.
This time was one of my happiest times I can remember. I rarely went out but I accepted an invite to a friend’s wedding where I was to meet my future husband and we lived at the school where he went to work on his bike and returned home in the evening.
Over this time I had managed to grow a portfolio of 4 homes and started a renovation company where my husband was able to help out with many of the tasks I even had my own tool belt and I was no stranger to a drill, hammer or screwdriver all was good.
We were only married 3 months when my husband was involved in a serious motorbike accident that I attended as it was right in front of the school where we lived. The accident degloved his foot and his leg broke fibia, tibia and femur. 6 months in hospital 12 operations and he could not work any longer.
I was left as the main bread earner at a time when the real estate bubble burst I had a husband at the hospital and creditors knocking at my door I can remember it that sinking feeling and what the stress was like back then the thought of how difficult it was and knowing the buck stopped with me with no support from a husband that needed to focus on getting better and the amount of physiotherapy that was needed to get him to walk again.
I knew nothing else other than to work hard, write to my creditors and to be honest with them in what was happening rather than have my head in the sand that gave me a little wriggle room to learn Internet marketing and try to forge ahead to earn extra income.
The struggle I had was not that I wasn’t ready to learn it was making stuff work and have funds coming in rather than going out. It was with a coach that things started to move forward it was 12 months before I started to earn a regular income, the more I earned the more I invested in myself in the way of mentors coaches and courses.
Today, I have built a company with the help of a business coach that is rock solid, I help businesses grow by supplying them with expert virtual assistants that are there to do the grunt work for them to free them up so that they can think of other creative ways to grow their business. They are no longer in the trenches and have really clawed back more time.
I am now in a place of gratitude thankful for the journey along the way that has given me knowledge to know what it feels like to have struggled but now its the time for me to select the people I want to work with in the way of different business partners, I have come to realise that the people that I am aligned with are the exact reflection of me in my outlook and the longing I have to keep helping people grow.
I look forward now to the next milestone birthday as life just keeps getting better no matter how many hiccups that I have along the way.
If I can help you or your business please reach out to me at info@needava.com or through my website http://needava.com love to meet up with you!

HOW TO CONTROL ONLINE DISTRACTIONS AT WORK

This might surprise you, but even multi-millionaire businessmen have struggled with distractions at work. For example, the worst time-suckers were Facebook, Skype and email.

We know how tempting it is to check your messages, browse through your friends’ photos and catch up on email notifications while you’re really supposed to be doing something else. The problem is, however, it’s not just a few minutes you lose; it might be 15 minutes in an hour and if you compute it, it totals to several hours in the week.

Believe me; once you let yourself waste time with distractions, you’ll never put into effect the kind of growth you want to achieve in your small business.
Here’s How to Deal with Distractions Online
You have to go right to the source of your distractions and cut yourself off. For example, you can have your Facebook password changed by your assistant so you can’t even get in unless you ask her specifically for the new code. I don’t think that anyone wants to admit to their assistant that they desperately need to access Facebook 20 minutes after changing the password. Now, thanks to that unusual solution, you might find that you don’t log in as much anymore.

The next problem was Skype. Usually, staff members are connected to their various departments and teams via Skype so you can imagine how many times it beeps all day long. Fighting the urge to follow each conversation and issue is just about impossible. So, what you can do is to start turning Skype off.

Wasting Time Won’t Get You Anywhere
A stunning 89 percent of employees surveyed by Salary.com in 2014 admitted to wasting time at work. At 62 percent, the majority of time wasters lose 30 minutes to an hour each day, while 2 percent say they waste 5 hours or more! Of course, so much can be achieved in 5 hours.

If you’re serious about setting up your own small business and creating financial freedom for yourself, time wastage like that will lead you into debt really quickly. All of us need to take some time for ourselves just to browse the internet and check our social networks.

Here’s a suggestion: Take 30 minutes a day for social media and other non-work-related online browsing. You can even spread it out over the course of the day if you like. Thirty minutes is a good solid chunk of time that feels satisfying yet doesn’t heavily harm your schedule.

Manage Your Time Effectively So You Have Time to Waste
Nobody’s asking you to work 12 hours a day—or at least rationally, he or she shouldn’t be. You should make a business plan and tackle important tasks each day and your business should be in good shape. Time management is a huge part of entrepreneurial success, so if you have a scattered schedule, think it’s about time to get organized.

Getting distracted just doesn’t cut it during a workday. It is better to put off signing into Gmail or checking Skype (or asking your assistant for your Facebook password) until you have finished the main tasks of the day. Then, rest assured you can do whatever you want.

Jackson Brown, Jr. said, “Don’t say you don’t have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo Da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.”

If you let your online distractions get to you throughout the day, they’ll just be massive time suckers—and you’re the one who’s going to end up paying for it.
